In January 2017, Pathways funded and accompanied 13 seminarians and Father Borello from St. John Vianney Seminary to Kolkata on a Mission of Mercy with the sisters of Mother Teresa. Most of the seminarians would never have had the opportunity or means for an experience like this. It not only greatly strengthened their faith but more importantly helped them to understand the importance of being attentive to the needs of their neighbors, especially those on the margins and in extreme poverty. The Seminary found the trip so important to these seminarians in their priestly formation that St. John Vianney requested Pathways to accompany another group in early January 2018.
